the good review was written by a uti EMPLOYEE SNEAKY HUH?THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO KEEP YOU FROM LEAERNING WHO THEY REALLY ARE.

TOO OVER PRICED OVER PROMISE UNDER DELIVER LOTS AND LOTS OF BOOKWORK! DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH..NOTHING WILL TRANSFER TO OTHER SCHOOLS. ALL YOU GET IS A WOTHLES CERTIFICATE. GO SOMEWHER WHERE YOU CAN GET A CREDIBLE DEGREE.

ALSO TAKE IN CONSIDERATION ALL OF THE LITTLE NICKLE AND DIME CHARGES THEY ADD ON. IF YOU LEAVE THEY WILL KEEP ALL OF YOUR MONEY THEY CAN.

BE CAUTIOUS DO NOT LET THEM TALK YOU INTO ANYTHING.THEY ARE SALESMAN.

I contacted UTI about their courses, and compared them to a technical college in my area. They claim that they train the way dealerships train.

As a former dealership service manager, I know this is false. I took a two year auto technicians degree at a technical college, and a one year auto body paint and repair certificate. They had an advisory board from all of the local dealerships, that helped develop the courses that would make the student graduates better trained, and more easily hired. It cost less and was much better hands-on training, and better skill set learning than you could possibly get from UTI.

Check around your area, for a credited technical college, or junior college. You'll be glad you took the extra effort.
