Id give this place zero stars if I could.I went for a year and a half and graduated with a 3.74 GPA, was on the deans list, and student of the course.

They promise job placement which is all fine and dandy if you want to work at jiffy lube and cant afford to pay back your loans. Its a joke. You cant even work on your car for open shop. They'll let you change your brakes and that's about it.

They threw a fit when I changed my spark plugs because they will not allow you to do any kind of engine work whatsoever. Sure I was taught how to rebuild a transmission but I didn't take it off the car. You have to pick one they already have in the room that's sitting on a shelf under the table. It was a 4 speed manual transmission.

Who has has one of those anymore? Seriously do not waste your money going here. Just go to a community college that offers these courses. At least there you'll graduate with ASE certifications.

UTI doesn't make you get any ASE certs. They say you can get hired at Porsche and Mercedes but in all actuality they only take like 8 students a year and that's not from one campus. That's from all the campuses which I think is like 10 all together. So think about how many students that'd be all together and they take 8.

That's not even a 1% chance you'd get in. Not to mention half the people in my class all have jobs in different industries.

Go here if you want to pay 50K to learn how to "fix" your own car.If anyone wants to go in on a class action suit I'd be glad to be a part of it.

LOL it's funny how you complain about a transmission you had to choose and not actually *** a vehicle. If you don't have the skills to visualize the bolt and turn it to the left to remove it then why are you entering this field.

People going into any educational facility wanting a technician job should already have the ability to remove bolts and put them on.

As far as College is better I tell you to review this again after you graduate. If you haven't noticed you never see a review of students going to community and then commenting that it was so much better there is a reason why.

I agree, l have only been with NTI for 2 months.I went down to my old college, as they now offer the exact same thing NTI is claiming to have.

They are liars! I will have a real degree from my old college, it's a degree in applied science. NTI in mooresville NC isn't certified, therefore nothing you take is transferable outside of that freaking state. I am a good bit older than most that pass through those halls.

This means I am well aware of what B.S smells like!Big ole thumbs down to this school!
