I was really thinking about going to UTI but after reading all the negative reviews I have changed my mind. I would guess 80% +/- are all negative so it's just not a few bad comments.

I guess I will be looking elsewhere for schooling. Guess I'll be looking at community college now. But at least I have narrowed my search down. I hate scams and this place sounds like a huge one to me.

Places like this (at least the way it has been described) make me sick they are only concerned with making money and screwing the students for their profit. Thanks for the heads up guys you saved me from a huge mistake.

I bet if you copy and paste that statement from Diana and put it in google search you will find the same posts. I can guarantee that is a pre loaded response to everybody.

Try it!

She is so used the negative comments she has to have the same response over and over. However, she will change a word or two once she reads this.

160,000 students with 30,000 plus in debt. That school is a monster. Do the math.

Hello Anonymous, please don't allow a few bad reviews alter your decision to attend one of our campuses! Decide for yourself!

We would like for you to consider that the we have 13 campuses located nationwide and have prepared more than 160,000 students for successful careers in the automotive, diesel, motorcycle, marine and collision repair industries since 1965. Have you been out to tour the campus you are enrolled at? We do pride ourselves on the fact that 4 out of 5 UTI graduates do get jobs. To back up this statement, you can view our statistics on the Disclosure page on the Universal Technical Institute website (found under the Student Services tab).

Give us a fair chance. At UTI, our extensive partnerships--many of them exclusive--with many of the world's most well known manufacturers are important to your career as a technician. Manufacturers equip us with the latest vehicles and technology to train you to be their next generation of employees. They don't have these relationships with other schools.

they choose UTI to train their future employees. If you are basing your decision off of reviews - I would suggest heading over to view our profile on the Niche website. You will be able to connect with current students and alumni who share their experiences (most are positive) organized by campus and department. The website is not owned by us, nor do we encourage students to write reviews - all feedback from users is strictly authentic!

Also, check out our Online Yearbook found on our Facebook page. You can hear first hand from graduates who have submitted their personal stories including their experience while attending one of our campuses along with updates on their success upon graduating. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

Sounds like another marketing ploy... A little concerned that so many folks have complained about UTI, not found work, etc...

It does sound like empty promises and relieving cash from folks wallet... 30K+ for 11 months of training, poor living conditions on campus ( can't wait to see the campus )...
