I had a great time and graduated top of my class with a few soc pins. I’m only posting because I saw a few neg reviews.

UTI is a door opener. The name alone will get you the interview, but it is up to you to live up to the expectations. There were quite a few bad apples either just passing the time with their gi bill or young and dumb trying to figure out life. I’m from a small island and out of 40 islanders, less than 10 of us graduated on time.

Most dropped out. My best advice would be go work in the industry for a year. Get your hands dirty. Work *** hours for min wage.

When you come to school you will be hungry and probably push harder. Honestly it’s pretty easy. You can sign up for tutoring. 90-100% is an A, so it’s not that hard to get a 4.0 gpa.

No, you will not become a master tech straight out of school. But get a job that offers experience with a good mentor. That will train you more. Take auto and diesel.

Never know where life will take you. Do not sign up with collegiate housing. They over charge and suck. The compound I was living in didn’t renew the lease with them and we moved to another place.

I ended up getting charged for damages I did not do even though I had noted them on the move in check list. They charged me but not my roommate that moved in the same day.

Anyway, yeah it’s a great school. The few bad apples complaining can shove it.
